In 1992, I was a sophomore in college and I found yoga. I fell in love with the practice. Over the years yoga became a source of physical, mental and emotional support, and growth for me. After working some years in the corporate world and having my four children, I began teaching vinyasa influenced classes out of my home to mother friends. With their encouragement, and the support of my family, I prepared to offer yoga to my community.
In 2009, I completed my first yoga training and began a path to learn as much as possible about yoga, herbal medicine, Ayurveda and various other wellness modalities. I'm always studying. The natural world and its cycles, the joys of cooking, gardening, loving a spouse, motherhood and gathering with friends and family are great inspirations to me and I bring these experiences to my teaching. My yoga journey includes vinyasa, kundalini, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, yin, Ayurveda and meditation. Thank you to all of my teachers who have guided and held me. Besides the life teachers of family and friends, I'm deeply grateful to have studied closely with Ashley Litecky Elenbaas, Hannah Leatherbury, and Kathryn Templeton.
