One of the most special aspects of my work is that I get to meet so very many interesting people.  I am always giddy when I find out more about my students' lives and what they do off of their mats.  One such student is Larrissa Strout.  She is a gifted baker and has mastered the delicacy of baking for the gluten intolerant.  I recently asked her to make my family a ski inspired cake for our Sunday dinner (image to the left).  It was not only beautiful and whimsical but it was incredibly delicious.  Visit Larrissa's blog for information on how to order your sweet masterpiece:  http://stupendousstrouts.blogspot.com.

Congratulations to our half marathoners, Ann Cavanaugh and Jill Werwinski, for completing their big run on Saturday.  Your strength and drive are an inspiration to me and all.

Enjoy a sunny, sweet Sunday.

With peace and caring,
Amy
